Easter Egg:
You’ve seen the mural of Wizard of Oz on our South Wall. But did you know that there’s a tie in with the lobby in the front?

Well, if you recall in the Wizard of Oz movie, when Dorothy is in Kansas, the world is in black and white.
We wanted this room to be a visual nod back to the opening scenes of the movie with this entirely black and white room.
Also, the moral is situated in the direction of Balboa Park, our world famous neighbor to the east. The tile work on the floor is supposed to evoke the Panama-California Exposition that was held at the park between 1915-1917.
